France’s FIP Radio recorded two of these magical moments, on March 13 and December 2, 2008, so Eric’s fans could share the freshness and spontaneity of his music in the form of this double Digipak CD. The first concert (CD1) presents Eric with his full band (including second guitar, bass and drums). For the second performance (CD2), he is backed by his regular drummer and Amar Sundy on electric guitar. CD2 is enhanced by a 20-minute video taped live that night, with additional interview excerpts. This “Live at FIP” double set is bound to become a milestone in Bibb’s career. It shows the full extent of his artistry as he glides gracefully over a repertoire made of his strongest material from the last fifteen years.

The Nashville band included producer Glen Scott on keyboards and backing vocals, Tommy Sims (Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Clarkson, Eric Clapton) on guitar, bass and backing vocals, Lemar Carter on drums (Carrie Underwood, Joss Stone, India.Arie) and other Nashville musical luminaries. "Painting Signs" is Eric's third studio album. Recorded mostly in Tonezone Studios, Kent, England, this album features several new compositions by Eric, as well as tracks written by some of the major influences in American roots music - Rev. Gary Davis, Pop Staples & Jimi Hendrix. On this album, Eric is joined by bass player/producer Dave Bronze, keyboard player Janne Petersson and Henry Spinetti on the drum stool. Old friends Linda Tillery & The Cultural Heritage Choir provide wonderful backing vocals. Recorded in a Norfolk farmhouse, both live and studio techniques were used. For this album, Eric and his musicians were joined by bass player Dave Bronze, who along with engineer Dave Williams and Eric produced this album.
