Eric Bibb’s 2014 appearance at The Arden Theatre remains a finely-etched memory for his faithful fans. Bibb’s celebration of traditional acoustic blues is balanced with compelling originals that incorporate his firm grasp of global musical and sociopolitical influences. Bibb has since released five albums.

The 2018 Grammy nominated Migration Blues, combines pointed originals with powerful renditions of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie classics. This is an artist who challenges both his audience and peers to do better. Bibb is to the new millennium what The Staple Singers and his father, Leon Bibb, were to the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
