Eric Bibb – Workshop

His career spans 5 decades; he has recorded over 30 albums, and has shared the stage with such luminaries as Pops & Mavis Staples, Bonnie Raitt, Hubert Sumlin and Charlie Musselwhite. Eric Bibb comes from a musical family: his father was Leon Bibb, a fixture on the New York folk scene of the early 60s; John Lewis, pianist and founder of the Modern Jazz Quartet was his uncle; and his godfather was actor and singer Paul Robeson. Today, Eric is a leading figure in acoustic blues, following in the footsteps of his idol Taj Mahal. His latest release, Migration Blues, was nominated for a Grammy award this year.
